Brew the Tea
In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat and add the black tea bags. Let steep for 5-7 minutes.

Sweeten the Tea
Remove the tea bags and stir in 1 cup of granulated sugar until fully dissolved.

Cool the Tea
Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
