Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the English Muffins

Split the English muffins in half and toast them until golden brown. Set aside.

2

Cook the Ham

In a skillet over medium heat, warm the sliced ham for about 2-3 minutes on each side until heated through. Remove from heat and keep warm.

3

Make the Hollandaise Sauce

Prepare the hollandaise sauce according to your preferred recipe or package instructions. Keep warm until ready to serve.

Poaching the Eggs

4

Boil Water

In a large pot, bring about 4 inches of water to a gentle simmer over medium heat. Add the white vinegar.

5

Poach the Eggs

Crack each egg into a small bowl. Gently slide the eggs into the simmering water, one at a time. Poach for 3-4 minutes or until the whites are set but the yolks are still runny.

6

Remove the Eggs

Using a slotted spoon, carefully remove the poached eggs from the water and let them drain on a paper towel.

Assembly

7

Assemble the Benedict

On each toasted English muffin half, place a slice of warm ham, followed by a poached egg. Drizzle generously with hollandaise sauce.

8

Season and Garnish

Sprinkle with salt and black pepper to taste. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
