Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rinse the ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Rub the salt and black pepper evenly over both sides of the ribs.

  2. 2

    Bake the Ribs

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover the ribs tightly with another sheet of aluminum foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.

  3. 3

    Make the Glaze

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine hoisin sauce, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Stir well and bring to a simmer. Cook for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.

  4. 4

    Glaze and Grill

Once the ribs are done baking, remove them from the oven and discard the top layer of foil. Brush the glaze generously over the ribs. Preheat a grill to medium-high heat and grill the ribs for about 5-7 minutes on each side, basting with more glaze as desired.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with any remaining glaze on the side.
