Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into cubes. Trim the asparagus and cut into 2-inch pieces. Slice the onion and chop the mushrooms.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a large skillet, melt the vegan butter over medium heat. Add the onion and sauté for about 2-3 minutes until translucent. Add the garlic and cook for another minute.

  3. 3

    Add Mushrooms and Asparagus

Add the chopped mushrooms and asparagus to the skillet. Sauté for about 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.

  4. 4

    Cook the Tofu

Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet and add the cubed tofu. Drizzle with soy sauce and sesame oil. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until the tofu is golden brown.

  5. 5

    Season and Serve

Mix the tofu with the vegetables, season with black pepper and salt to taste. Serve hot.
