Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels. This helps to achieve a good sear.
- 2
Season the Chicken
In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Rub this spice mixture evenly over both sides of the chicken breasts.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- 4
Sear the Chicken
Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook without moving them for about 6-7 minutes, until they are golden brown.
- 5
Flip and Cook
Flip the chicken breasts and continue cooking for another 6-7 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the juices run clear.
- 6
Add Lemon Juice
Remove the chicken from the skillet and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top. Let it rest for 5 minutes.
- 7
Garnish and Serve
Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
