Method

Meatloaf

  1. 1

    Prepare the Meatloaf

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, ground pork, onion, garlic, bread crumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and parsley until well combined. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.

  2. 2

    Bake the Meatloaf

Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C). Remove from oven and let it rest before slicing.

Mushroom Gravy

  1. 3

    Prepare the Gravy

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add mushrooms and cook until browned. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in beef broth and soy sauce. Simmer until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.

Beer Battered Onion Rings

  1. 4

    Prepare the Onion Rings

In a bowl, mix flour, beer, salt, and pepper until smooth. Heat oil in a deep pan. Dip onion rings in batter and fry until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

Yukon Mash

  1. 5

    Make the Mashed Potatoes

Boil Yukon Gold potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain and return to pot. Add butter, milk, salt, and pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.
