Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beurre Blanc

In a saucepan, combine white wine and lemon juice over medium heat. Reduce by half.

  2. 2

    Add Butter

Whisk in the butter, one piece at a time, until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper. Keep warm.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Ahi Tuna

Pat the Ahi tuna steaks dry with paper towels. Season both sides with Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

  4. 4

    Sear the Ahi Tuna

Heat olive oil in a heavy skillet over high heat. Once hot, add the Ahi tuna steaks and sear for 1-2 minutes per side for medium-rare, adjusting time based on thickness.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Soy Mustard

In a small bowl, mix soy sauce and Dijon mustard to create the soy mustard sauce.

  6. 6

    Serve

Plate the blackened Ahi tuna and drizzle with Beurre Blanc and soy mustard. Enjoy!
