Method

Meatloaf Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 2

    Mix Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and chopped parsley. Mix well until fully combined.

  3. 3

    Shape Meatloaf

Transfer the meat mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.

  4. 4

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).

Mashed Potatoes Preparation

  1. 5

    Boil Potatoes

In a large pot, add the cubed potatoes and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

  2. 6

    Mash Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, milk, salt, and black pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy.

Wild Mushroom Gravy Preparation

  1. 7

    Sauté Mushrooms

In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the sliced wild mushrooms and sauté until browned, about 5-7 minutes.

  2. 8

    Make Gravy

Sprinkle flour over the mushrooms and stir to coat. Gradually add beef broth while stirring to avoid lumps. Cook until thickened, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper.

Local Vegetables Preparation

  1. 9

    Sauté Vegetables

In a separate pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped seasonal local vegetables and sauté until tender, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
