Macadamia Nut Crusted Hawaiian Whitefish
Method
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Fish
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Rinse the Hawaiian whitefish fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
- 2
Make the Crust
In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped macadamia nuts, panko breadcrumbs, melted butter, lemon juice, garlic powder, and chopped cilantro. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
- 3
Coat the Fish
Place the seasoned fish fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Evenly spread the macadamia nut mixture over the top of each fillet, pressing gently to adhere.
- 4
Bake
Bake the crusted fish in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and the crust is golden brown.
- 5
Serve
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy with a drizzle of lobster essence for added flavor.
