Prepare the Coffee Maker
Start by ensuring your coffee maker is clean and properly set up. Fill the water reservoir with 4 cups of fresh, cold water.

Add Coffee Grounds
Measure out 1 cup of coarsely ground coffee. Place a coffee filter in the brew basket and add the coffee grounds to the filter.

Turn on the coffee maker and allow it to brew the coffee. This should take approximately 5-10 minutes.
