Method

Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare the Blackened Ahi

Rub the Ahi fillets with olive oil and coat with blackening spice. Heat a skillet over high heat and cook the Ahi for 2-3 minutes on each side until blackened and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from skillet and let rest before slicing.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In the same skillet, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove from skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess fat. Once cooled, chop into small pieces.

  3. 3

    Make the Croutons

Cut the bread into cubes and toss with olive oil, salt, and furikake seasoning. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 10-15 minutes until golden and crispy.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Salad

In a large bowl, combine the lettuce mix, cherry tomatoes (halved), cucumber (sliced), and the chopped bacon. Top with sliced blackened Ahi and the furikake croutons.

  5. 5

    Dress and Serve

Drizzle honey mustard dressing over the salad, toss gently to combine, and serve immediately.
