Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Jade Pesto

In a food processor, combine the pine nuts, basil leaves, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, and Parmesan cheese. Blend until smooth and season with salt and pepper to taste.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Bok Choy

Wash and chop the Bok Choy into bite-sized pieces. Set aside.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Fish

Season the Hawaiian whitefish fillets with salt and black pepper. Place them in a steamer basket lined with parchment paper.

  4. 4

    Steam the Fish

Bring a pot of water to a boil and steam the fish for about 8-10 minutes or until cooked through.

  5. 5

    Steam the Bok Choy

In the last 3-4 minutes of cooking the fish, add the chopped Bok Choy to the steamer to cook it until tender.

  6. 6

    Serve

Once the fish and Bok Choy are ready, plate the fish, drizzle with Chinese soy sauce, and top with the jade pesto. Serve immediately.
