Crab Cakes

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Crab Cake Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, combine the Dungeness crab meat, Panko breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, green onion, beaten egg, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until all ingredients are well combined.

  2. 2

    Shape the Cakes

Using your hands, form the mixture into small patties, about 2 inches in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  3. 3

    Chill the Cakes

Cover the baking sheet with plastic wrap and refrigerate the crab cakes for at least 30 minutes to firm up.

  4. 4

    Cook the Crab Cakes

In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Carefully place the crab cakes in the skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
