Ingredients for Hapa Burger

Method

Directions for Hapa Burger

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patty Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, combine the Makaweli beef, wild boar meat, minced garlic, chopped shallot, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the meat mixture into two equal portions and shape each into a patty. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up while cooking.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

  4. 4

    Add the Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

Toast the burger buns if desired. Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the cooked patty with melted cheese, sliced tomato, ketchup, and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the Hapa Burger immediately with your favorite side dishes.
