Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, mix gochujang, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and minced garlic to create the marinade.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Chicken

Coat the young chicken thoroughly with the marinade. Place it in the refrigerator and let it marinate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Garlic Fried Rice

In a pan, heat oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Add the cooked rice and stir-fry for about 5 minutes until heated through. Set aside.

  4. 4

    Cook the Chicken

Preheat the grill or oven to 375°F (190°C). Grill or roast the marinated chicken for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C), basting occasionally with leftover marinade.

  5. 5

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a separate pan, sauté bok choy and keiki carrots in a little oil until tender, about 5-7 minutes.

  6. 6

    Plate the Dish

Serve the grilled chicken with garlic fried rice, sautéed bok choy, and keiki carrots. Top with kimchee and garnish with sesame seeds.
