Spring Roll Filling

Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Make the Filling

In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cabbage, grated carrot, chopped green onions, soy sauce, minced ginger, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Spring Rolls

Lay a spring roll wrapper on a clean surface. Place about 2 tablespoons of the filling near one edge of the wrapper. Fold the sides over the filling and roll tightly from the edge closest to you. Seal the edge with a little water.

  3. 3

    Fry the Spring Rolls

In a large, deep skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the spring rolls in batches, cooking until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  4. 4

    Serve

Serve the spring rolls hot with Black Bean Dragon Sauce for dipping.
