Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ahi Tuna

Pat the Ahi tuna steaks dry with a paper towel. Season both sides generously with Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Heat the Pan

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.

  3. 3

    Cook the Ahi Tuna

Add the seasoned Ahi tuna steaks to the hot skillet, cooking for 2-3 minutes on each side until blackened and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  4. 4

    Make the Butter Sauce

In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Add the butter, minced garlic, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice. Whisk together until the butter is melted and the sauce is well combined.

  5. 5

    Plate and Serve

Slice the blackened Ahi tuna and plate it. Drizzle the soy mustard butter sauce over the top and serve immediately.
