Ingredients for Scampi alla Giovanni
Method
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Tagliatelle
Cook the house made tagliatelle in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 2
Sauté the Shrimp
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant. Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes.
- 3
Add Wine and Seasoning
Pour in the white wine and lemon juice, and season with salt and black pepper. Let the mixture simmer for about 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the sauce to reduce slightly.
- 4
Combine with Tagliatelle
Add the cooked tagliatelle to the skillet and toss gently to combine, ensuring the pasta is well-coated in the sauce. Stir in the chopped parsley.
- 5
Serve
Plate the scampi over the tagliatelle and garnish with additional parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
