Meatballs

Jameson Orange Whiskey Glaze

Method

Meatballs Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix the Meatball Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, chopped onion, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

  2. 2

    Form the Meatballs

Using your hands, form the mixture into meatballs, approximately 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  3. 3

    Bake the Meatballs

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes or until they are cooked through and browned.

Jameson Orange Whiskey Glaze Preparation

  1. 4

    Combine the Glaze Ingredients

In a medium saucepan, combine the Jameson Irish Whiskey, orange juice, brown sugar, soy sauce, orange zest, and bring to a simmer over medium heat.

  2. 5

    Thicken the Glaze

In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch and water until smooth. Once the glaze is simmering, add the cornstarch mixture, stirring continuously until the glaze thickens, about 2-3 minutes.

  3. 6

    Glaze the Meatballs

Once the meatballs are done baking, remove them from the oven and immediately toss them in the Jameson Orange Whiskey glaze until well coated.
