Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Begin by washing the lettuce leaves thoroughly and patting them dry. Slice the tomato into thick rounds and set aside.

  2. 2

    Season the Beef

In a bowl, season the Certified Angus beef patties with salt and black pepper. Mix gently to ensure even seasoning.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Charbroil the Patties

Preheat a grill or charbroiler to medium-high heat. Place the seasoned beef patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

  2. 4

    Melt the Cheese

During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Assemble the Burger

Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill. On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by a beef patty with melted cheese. Add a slice of tomato, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.
