Ingredients for Flight #5

Method

Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Gather Your Ingredients

Collect all the ingredients listed for the Flight #5 whiskey tasting.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Glassware

Choose four whiskey tasting glasses to serve each whiskey. Rinse them with water to cleanse.

  3. 3

    Measure the Whiskeys

Using a jigger, measure 50 ml of Limavady Single Malt and pour it into the first glass.

  4. 4

    Repeat for Each Whiskey

Measure 50 ml of Fercullen Falls Small Batch and pour it into the second glass. Measure 50 ml of Two Stacks Cask Strength and pour into the third glass. Finally, measure 50 ml of Glendalough 7yr Single Malt and pour into the fourth glass.

  5. 5

    Add Ice

If desired, add 1 ice cube to each glass to chill the whiskey slightly.

  6. 6

    Dilute with Water

For those who prefer a smoother taste, add 7.5 ml of water to each glass (totaling 30 ml for the four whiskeys).

  7. 7

    Tasting Order

It is recommended to taste the whiskeys in the order they are prepared: Limavady, Fercullen Falls, Two Stacks, and Glendalough.

  8. 8

    Enjoy

Take your time to savor each whiskey, noting the unique flavors and aromas of each.
