Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Chill Your Glass

Begin by chilling a whiskey tasting glass or a short glass by placing it in the freezer for about 10-15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Ice

While the glass is chilling, take a few ice cubes and place them in a mixing glass or cocktail shaker.

  3. 3

    Measure the Whiskeys

Using a jigger, measure 2 oz of Glendalough Pot Still Whiskey and pour it over the ice in the mixing glass.

  4. 4

    Add West Cork Whiskey

Next, measure 1 oz of West Cork Bog Oak Finish Whiskey and add it to the mixing glass.

  5. 5

    Add The Quiet Man Blend

Finally, pour in 1 oz of The Quiet Man Blend Whiskey to the mixing glass, making sure all three whiskeys are combined.

  6. 6

    Stir the Mixture

Stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds to chill and combine the flavors without diluting them too much.

  7. 7

    Strain and Serve

Remove the chilled glass from the freezer and strain the whiskey mixture into the glass over fresh ice cubes if desired.

  8. 8

    Garnish

Finally, garnish your drink with a lemon twist by expressing the oils over the drink and placing it in the glass.
