Method

Corned Beef Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Corned Beef

Trim any excess fat from the Angus corned beef and cut it into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Cook the Corned Beef

Place the trimmed pieces of corned beef in a pot of boiling water. Simmer for about 2 hours, or until tender. Remove from heat and let it cool.

Breading and Frying

  1. 3

    Set Up Breading Station

In three separate bowls, place the flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.

  2. 4

    Bread the Corned Beef

Take each piece of cooked corned beef, first dip it in flour, then in the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with breadcrumbs.

  3. 5

    Heat the Oil

In a deep skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  4. 6

    Fry the Corned Beef Poppers

Carefully place the breaded corned beef pieces in the hot oil. Fry for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Brew Pub Mustard Preparation

  1. 7

    Mix the Mustard

In a small bowl, whisk together the yellow mustard, Dijon mustard, honey, apple cider vinegar, and black pepper until well combined.
