Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Teriyaki Sauce

In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, mirin, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sesame oil. Heat over medium heat until the mixture is simmering and the sugar is dissolved. Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Salmon

Preheat the broiler in your oven. Line a baking tray with aluminum foil and lightly grease it. Place the salmon fillets on the tray, skin side down.

  3. 3

    Broil the Salmon

Brush the teriyaki sauce generously over the salmon fillets. Broil the salmon for about 6-8 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Halfway through the cooking time, brush more teriyaki sauce on top.

  4. 4

    Garnish and Serve

Once cooked, remove the salmon from the oven. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve hot with additional teriyaki sauce on the side.
