Preparation

Directions for Salmon Katsu

1. Prepare the Salmon

Season the salmon fillets with salt and black pepper on both sides.

2. Set Up Breading Station

In three separate shallow dishes, place the all-purpose flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs.

3. Bread the Salmon

Dredge each salmon fillet in flour, shaking off excess. Dip into the beaten eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.

4. Fry the Salmon

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the breaded salmon fillets. Fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.

5. Drain and Serve

Remove the fried salmon from the skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot with California rolls, egg rolls, and steamed rice.
