Pork Teriyaki

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, mirin, sesame oil, minced garlic, and minced ginger.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Pork

Place the pork tenderloin in a resealable bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for best results.

  3. 3

    Cook the Pork

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the pork from the marinade (reserving the marinade) and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

  4. 4

    Glaze with Marinade

In a small saucepan, bring the reserved marinade to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes to thicken. Brush the cooked pork with the thickened marinade.

  5. 5

    Slice and Serve

Let the pork rest for a few minutes, then slice it into medallions. Serve it warm, garnished with sliced green onions.
