Preparation Steps
- 1
Marinate the Chicken
In a bowl, combine the teriyaki sauce, minced garlic, and minced ginger. Add the boneless chicken breasts to the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- 2
Preheat the Broiler
Preheat your broiler to high heat.
- 3
Prepare the Baking Sheet
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup, and lightly brush it with vegetable oil.
- 4
Broil the Chicken
Remove the chicken from the marinade (reserve the marinade) and place it on the prepared baking sheet. Broil for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is cooked through and has a nice caramelized color.
- 5
Heat the Marinade
While the chicken is broiling, pour the reserved marinade into a small saucepan and bring it to a simmer over medium heat. Allow it to cook for about 5-7 minutes to thicken slightly.
- 6
Serve
Once the chicken is done, remove it from the oven, drizzle with the thickened teriyaki sauce, and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
