Beef Teriyaki Box Ingredients

Method

Beef Teriyaki Box Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare Teriyaki Beef

Slice the beef sirloin into thin strips. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, mirin, brown sugar, and cornstarch to create the teriyaki sauce. Marinate the beef in the sauce for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Beef

Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

  3. 3

    Prepare Gyoza Filling

In a bowl, mix ground pork with salt, pepper, and any desired vegetables (like chopped cabbage or green onions).

  4. 4

    Make Gyoza

Place a teaspoon of filling in the center of each gyoza wrapper. Wet the edges with water and fold in half to seal. Heat a skillet over medium heat, add a little oil, and fry gyoza until golden brown on both sides. Add a splash of water, cover, and steam for 5 minutes.

  5. 5

    Prepare Shrimp Tempura

In a bowl, prepare the tempura batter as per package instructions. Heat oil in a pot for frying. Dip shrimp in the batter and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

  6. 6

    Prepare Sushi Roll

Cook sushi rice according to package instructions. Once cooked, let it cool. Place a nori sheet on a bamboo mat, spread a thin layer of rice, and top with cucumber and avocado slices. Roll tightly, then slice into bite-sized pieces.

  7. 7

    Assemble the Box

In a bento box or platter, arrange the teriyaki beef, gyoza, shrimp tempura, and sushi rolls. Serve with soy sauce for dipping.
