Cooking Instructions
- 1
Marinate the Beef
In a bowl, combine the teriyaki sauce, minced garlic, and minced ginger. Add the beef steak, ensuring it is fully coated with the marinade. Cover and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- 2
Preheat the Broiler
Preheat your broiler to high heat.
- 3
Prepare the Broiler Pan
Lightly oil a broiler pan with vegetable oil to prevent sticking.
- 4
Broil the Beef
Remove the beef from the marinade (reserve the marinade) and place it on the broiler pan. Broil the beef for about 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is achieved.
- 5
Heat the Reserved Marinade
While the beef is broiling, pour the reserved marinade into a small saucepan and bring it to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 5 minutes to thicken slightly.
- 6
Serve
Once the beef is done, let it rest for a few minutes. Slice it against the grain, drizzle with the thickened teriyaki sauce, and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
