Cooking Instructions
- 1
Marinate the Salmon
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, mirin, grated ginger, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Whisk together until well mixed. Add the salmon fillets to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- 2
Preheat the Grill or Hibachi
Preheat your grill or hibachi to medium-high heat.
- 3
Cook the Salmon
Remove the salmon from the marinade and allow excess marinade to drip off. Brush the grill grates with olive oil to prevent sticking. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, then flip and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- 4
Garnish and Serve
Once cooked, remove the salmon from the grill. Sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately with steamed rice and vegetables if desired.
