Method

Preparation

1

Prepare the Mint Infusion

In a medium saucepan, combine 4 cups of water and 1 cup of fresh mint leaves. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat and let simmer for 10 minutes to allow the mint to infuse.

2

Strain the Mint Water

After simmering, remove the saucepan from heat. Using a fine mesh strainer, strain the mint leaves from the water into a large pitcher. Discard the leaves.

3

Mix the Ingredients

Add 1 cup of lemon juice and 1 cup of honey to the strained mint water in the pitcher. Stir well until the honey is completely dissolved.

Serving

4

Chill or Serve Immediately

If you prefer a chilled beverage, place the pitcher in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Alternatively, you can serve immediately by adding 1 cup of ice cubes to each glass.

5

Garnish

For added flavor and presentation, garnish each glass with lemon slices and a few fresh mint leaves before serving.
