Make the Pesto Sauce
In a food processor, combine the fresh basil leaves, pine nuts, and garlic. Pulse until finely chopped.

Add the grated Grana Padano cheese, salt, and black pepper. Pulse again until mixed.

With the food processor running, slowly drizzle in the extra virgin olive oil until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
