Preparation Instructions
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) or as hot as your oven allows.
- 2
Prepare the Dough
On a floured surface, stretch or roll out the pizza dough to your desired shape and thickness. Transfer it to a pizza stone or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 3
Add the Sauce
Spread the organic crushed tomatoes evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border for the crust.
- 4
Add Cheese
Tear the hand-stretched mozzarella into chunks and distribute it evenly over the tomato sauce.
- 5
Season
Sprinkle salt and black pepper over the cheese to enhance the flavor.
- 6
Bake the Pizza
Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- 7
Add Prosciutto and Arugula
Remove the pizza from the oven and immediately layer the La Quercia prosciutto slices on top, followed by the fresh arugula.
- 8
Drizzle with Olive Oil
Finish by drizzling extra virgin olive oil over the top of the pizza.
- 9
Slice and Serve
Let the pizza cool for a minute, then slice and serve hot.
