    Using a burr grinder, grind the Colombian coffee beans to a medium-coarse consistency.

    Prepare the Water

    Heat filtered water in a kettle until it reaches a temperature of about 90-96 degrees Celsius (195-205 degrees Fahrenheit).

    Brew the Coffee

    In a French press or pour-over setup, add the ground coffee. Pour the heated water over the coffee grounds evenly and let it steep for about 4 minutes.

    Press and Serve

    If using a French press, gently press down the plunger after steeping. Pour into a cup and sweeten with sugar if desired.
