Prepare the Chicken
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Pat the chicken dry with paper towels, then rub it all over with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Place garlic cloves inside the cavity of the chicken.

Roast the Chicken
Place the chicken on a roasting rack in a baking dish. Roast in the preheated oven for about 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the skin is golden brown. Baste occasionally with the pan juices.

Sauté String Beans
In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add 1 pound of string beans and sauté for 4-5 minutes until tender but crisp. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Make Herb Lemon Jus
After removing the chicken from the oven, let it rest for 10 minutes. Use the pan drippings to make a sauce by adding a splash of chicken broth and fresh herbs. Simmer on low heat to combine flavors.
