Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Start by rinsing the white beans under cold water if canned. Chop the bacon into small pieces, trim the asparagus, and mince the garlic. Roughly chop the fresh herbs.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the bacon pieces and cook until crispy. Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the pan.

  3. 3

    Sauté Garlic and Asparagus

In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the trimmed asparagus and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until tender but still crisp.

  4. 4

    Add White Beans

Stir in the white beans and cooked bacon. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.

  5. 5

    Pan Roast the Salmon

In a separate pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper. Place them skin-side down in the hot pan and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side until cooked through and golden brown.

  6. 6

    Serve

Plate the sautéed white bean mixture and top with the pan-roasted salmon. Garnish with fresh herbs and a wedge of lemon.
