Prepare the Glass
Rim the edge of a 12oz glass with a lime wedge and dip it into coarse salt to coat the rim. Set aside.

Mix the Drink
In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, triple sec, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup.

Fill the shaker with ice, cover it, and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.

Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice. Garnish with a lime wedge on the rim.
