Burger Patties

Cheese

Buns and Toppings

Method

Preparing the Burger Patties

  1. 1

    Mix Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well until all the seasonings are evenly distributed.

  2. 2

    Form Patties

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions (approximately 1/4 lb each) and shape them into burger patties. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up while cooking.

Cooking the Patties

  1. 3

    Preheat Grill or Skillet

Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. 4

    Cook Patties

Place the burger patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip them.

  3. 5

    Add Cheese

After flipping, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Continue cooking for another 4-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the patties reach your desired doneness.

Assembling the Cheeseburger

  1. 6

    Prepare Buns

While the burgers are cooking, slice the burger buns in half and toast them lightly on the grill or in a toaster.

  2. 7

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each bun, place a leaf of lettuce, followed by a slice of tomato, and then the cooked cheeseburger patty with melted cheese. Add pickles, ketchup, and mustard to taste. Top with the other half of the bun.
