Method

Prepare the Tea

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil over medium-high heat.

  2. 2

    Brew Tea

Once the water is boiling, add 4 tablespoons of Thai tea leaves. Reduce the heat to low and let it steep for about 5 minutes.

  3. 3

    Strain Tea

After steeping, strain the tea into a pitcher or bowl, discarding the tea leaves.

Sweeten the Tea

  1. 4

    Add Sugar

While the tea is still warm, stir in 1 tablespoon of sugar until fully dissolved.

  2. 5

    Add Condensed Milk

Mix in 3 tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk for sweetness and creaminess. Stir well to combine.

Serve the Tea

  1. 6

    Chill or Serve Over Ice

You can serve the tea hot or chill it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. If serving cold, fill a glass with ice cubes and pour the tea over the ice.

  2. 7

    Add Evaporated Milk

Drizzle 1 tablespoon of evaporated milk over the top for a creamy finish.

  3. 8

    Garnish (Optional)

For extra sweetness, drizzle additional sweetened condensed milk on top if desired.
