Method

Prepare the Tea

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil over high heat.

  2. 2

    Steep Tea

Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 4 tablespoons of Thai tea leaves. Let the tea steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

  3. 3

    Strain the Tea

After steeping, strain the tea into a heat-safe container to remove the tea leaves.

Sweeten the Tea

  1. 4

    Add Sugar

While the tea is still warm, stir in 2 tablespoons of sugar until fully dissolved.

  2. 5

    Add Condensed Milk

Add 1 tablespoon of sweetened condensed milk to the tea and stir well to combine. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.

Serve

  1. 6

    Prepare Glasses

Fill a glass with 1 cup of ice cubes.

  2. 7

    Pour Tea

Slowly pour the prepared Thai iced tea over the ice cubes in the glass.

  3. 8

    Add Topping

Drizzle an additional tablespoon of sweetened condensed milk on top for a creamy finish.

  4. 9

    Serve Immediately

Serve the Thai iced tea immediately with a straw or stirring stick. Enjoy your refreshing drink!
