Marinade

Peanut Sauce (Optional)

Method

Marinade Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken

Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces, approximately 1 inch in size.

  2. 2

    Mix the Marinade

In a bowl, combine soy sauce, peanut butter, lime juice, brown sugar, minced garlic, grated ginger, chili powder, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until well blended.

  3. 3

    Marinate the Chicken

Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and mix until they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.

Grilling

  1. 4

    Prepare Skewers

If using bamboo skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning while grilling.

  2. 5

    Assemble Skewers

Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.

  3. 6

    Preheat Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat and brush the grill grates with vegetable oil to prevent sticking.

  4. 7

    Grill the Chicken

Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is fully cooked and has nice grill marks.

Peanut Sauce Preparation (Optional)

  1. 8

    Mix Peanut Sauce

In a small bowl, combine peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, and water. Stir until smooth. Add chili flakes to taste.
