Cooking Instructions

1

Marinate the Chicken

In a bowl, combine the chicken chunks, yogurt, half of the garlic, half of the ginger, garam masala, cumin powder, paprika, and salt. Mix well and let it marinate for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator.

2

Cook the Chicken

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.

3

Prepare the Sauce

In the same pan, add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent. Add the remaining garlic and ginger, and cook for another minute. Stir in the pureed tomatoes and cook for about 10 minutes until the sauce thickens.

4

Combine Chicken and Sauce

Add the cooked chicken back into the pan, and stir in the heavy cream. Simmer for another 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.

5

Garnish and Serve

Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot with rice or naan.
