Ingredients for Chicken Pakora

Method

Directions to Prepare Chicken Pakora

1

Prepare the Chicken

Cut the boneless chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and set aside.

2

Make the Batter

In a large bowl, combine chickpea flour, rice flour, garam masala, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well.

3

Add Water

Gradually add water to the dry mixture while stirring until a smooth batter forms. The batter should be thick enough to coat the chicken pieces well.

4

Incorporate Chicken

Add the chicken pieces to the batter and mix until all pieces are well coated. Stir in chopped coriander leaves.

5

Heat the Oil

In a deep frying pan, heat the oil over medium heat until hot.

6

Fry the Pakoras

Carefully drop the batter-coated chicken pieces into the hot oil in batches. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes per batch.

7

Drain and Serve

Remove the fried chicken pakoras from the oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with your favorite chutney or sauce.
