Ribs and Marinade

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Preparation

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

  2. 2

    Seasoning the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and brown sugar. Rub the mixture all over the baby back ribs.

  3. 3

    Oiling the Ribs

Drizzle olive oil over the ribs and rub it in to ensure an even coating.

  4. 4

    Baking the Ribs

Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover the ribs tightly with another piece of foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours.

  5. 5

    Applying BBQ Sauce

Remove the ribs from the oven, carefully uncover them, and brush BBQ sauce generously over the top of the ribs.

  6. 6

    Final Cooking

Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C). Return the ribs to the oven uncovered for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the sauce is caramelized and bubbly.

  7. 7

    Serving

Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for 10 minutes. Cut between the bones to separate the ribs and serve with additional BBQ sauce on the side.
