Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and brown sugar. Rub the mixture all over the baby back ribs.

Drizzle olive oil over the ribs and rub it in to ensure an even coating.

Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover the ribs tightly with another piece of foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours.

Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C). Return the ribs to the oven uncovered for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the sauce is caramelized and bubbly.
