Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork

Season the pork loin with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Bread the Pork

Beat the eggs in a bowl. Dip each seasoned pork loin piece into the eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs evenly.

  3. 3

    Fry the Pork

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Fry the breaded pork loin for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  4. 4

    Cook the Rice and Beans

In a pot, cook the white rice according to package instructions. In another pot, heat the red beans until warmed through.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Salad

Chop the lettuce and tomato to make a simple salad. Season with salt and olive oil to taste.

  6. 6

    Fry the Plantains

Peel and slice the sweet plantains diagonally. In a separate skillet, fry the slices in a bit of oil until golden brown and caramelized.

  7. 7

    Serve

Plate the breaded pork loin alongside the rice, red beans, salad, and fried sweet plantains.
