Taco Salad Directions
- 1
Prepare the Tortillas
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Brush flour tortillas with olive oil and place them in a muffin tin to shape them into bowls. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until crispy and golden.
- 2
Cook the Meat
In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef or chicken. Drain excess fat and add taco seasoning, following the package instructions. Cook until fully seasoned and heated through.
- 3
Assemble the Salad
Once the tortilla bowls are ready, fill each bowl with a generous portion of the seasoned meat, followed by lettuce, diced tomatoes, and a drizzle of cheese sauce.
- 4
Add Toppings
Finish with a dollop of sour cream on top and season with salt and pepper to taste. You can also add other toppings like salsa, jalapeños, or avocado if desired.
