Fajita Ingredients

Method

Fajita Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Season the rib-eye steak with olive oil, garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Allow it to marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the rib-eye steak for 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

  3. 3

    Sauté Vegetables

In the same skillet, add a little more olive oil if necessary. Sauté sliced bell peppers and onion until softened and slightly charred, about 5-7 minutes.

  4. 4

    Assemble Fajitas

Slice the rested steak against the grain into thin strips. Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave. Serve the steak and sautéed vegetables on the tortillas with lime wedges and fresh cilantro.
