Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Chicken or Steak

In a bowl, combine olive oil, salt, black pepper, cumin, and chili powder. Add the chicken or steak and coat it well with the marinade. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Meat

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Grill the marinated chicken or steak for about 6-8 minutes on each side or until fully cooked. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add a little more olive oil if necessary. Sauté the sliced onions and bell peppers over medium heat until they are soft and slightly caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Nachos

On a large plate or baking dish, layer the nacho chips. Top with the sliced grilled chicken or steak, sautéed vegetables, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese.

  5. 5

    Melt the Cheese

Drizzle the cheese dip over the nachos evenly. Optionally, you can place the assembled nachos in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 5-10 minutes to melt the cheese further.

  6. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from the oven (if used) and garnish with fresh cilantro. Serve immediately, and enjoy your Mike’s Special Fajita Nachos!
