Fajita Burrito Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Slice the steak or chicken into thin strips. Chop the bell peppers, onion, and tomato into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 2

    Cook the Meat

In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Add the sliced meat, season with salt, black pepper, cumin, and chili powder. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Sauté Vegetables

In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil. Add the onions and bell peppers. Sauté for about 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender. Add the chopped tomato and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burritos

Warm the tortillas in a separate pan or microwave. On each tortilla, layer some cooked rice, beans, sautéed vegetables, and cooked meat. Top with nacho cheese and ranchera sauce. Roll up the burrito tightly.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the fajita burritos with additional ranchera sauce on the side, if desired.
