Marinade the Steak

Prepare the Marinade
In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper.

Marinate the Steak
Place the flank steak in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2 hours for best flavor.

Sauté the Vegetables
In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced peppers and onions, season with salt and pepper, and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they are tender and slightly charred. Remove from heat and set aside.

Warm the Tortillas
While the steak rests, warm the flour tortillas in a skillet over low heat or in the microwave.

Place sliced steak, sautéed peppers, and onions on each tortilla. Top with sour cream, guacamole, and salsa as desired. Roll up the tortillas and enjoy your sizzling steak fajitas!
